【世界のみどり】オーストラリア緑の党から“潜水艦会談反対”の連帯を呼びかける声明

本日12月18日、オーストラリアのターンブル首相が来日し、日本の首相との会談が行われます。（外務省HP⇒　http://www.mofa.go.jp/mofaj/press/release/press4_002789.html　）
この会談では潜水艦購入について話し合われる予定となっています。

私たち緑の党グリーンズジャパンと共に武器取引に反対しているオーストラリア緑の党から連帯の声明が届きましたのでご紹介します。

オーストラリア緑の党は、日本と世界の平和緑の党グリーンズジャパンと連帯してと
もに行動します。私たちは、みなさんとともに平和と非暴力を唱え、私たちの地域の
軍縮に邁進します。

私たちは軍縮の確固たる支持者として、日本の緑の党とともにあります。私たちは、
防衛力の必要性を認識すると同時に、オーストラリアや日本、その他世界中から防衛
費を減らすべきだと考えます。武装の強化は、紛争の平和的解決を決してもたらさな
いでしょう。

オーストラリア緑の党は、経済的依存と平和への脅威を深めてしまう軍需産業の更な
る拡大に反対する日本の仲間たちを支持します。

“The Australian Greens stand with the Japanese Greens in solidarity for
peace in Japan and around the world. With you, we advocate for peace and
nonviolence, and are committed to demilitarisation of our region.

"We stand alongside the Japanese Greens as steadfast advocates for
disarmament. While we recognise the need for a defence force, we believe
that defence spending should be reduced by Australia, Japan and the rest of
the world. More armaments will never result in peaceful resolution of
conflict.

“The Australian Greens support our Japanese colleagues in opposing the
further expansion of an arms industry that entrenches economic dependence
and insecurity. Congratulations to you all on your advocacy and commitment.
